The iPhone Contacts List iBloc can be used to quickly and easily simulate a typical iOS Contacts list.  You can customize the Theme of the control to iOS6 varients or iOS7.

Key Features

An iPhone contacts list adds the following capabilities to an iRise simulation:

  • Quickly and easily create a searchable list of contacts
  • LInk from Contacts to perform other Actions within a simulation

Before you start

  • Download the

    iPhone 7 Content kit

to leverage a wide variety of graphical content in your iPhone simulations (iRise 8.12 required).
  • When building a simulation for an iPhone application, try to get your hands on an actual iPhone to get a feel for how applications work on the physical device. This will help guide the behaviors and interactions you build in your simulation.
  • If you are not familiar with designing iOS applications,

    do a little research

before attempting to build an iPhone simulation.

Usage Tips

  • The width of the ibloc is fixed at 320 pixels in simulation. So, even though you can change this in Studio, it has no effect in Simulation.
  • Select your theme - iOS7 is default.

Basic Usage

  1. Drag the iPhone Contacts list iBloc onto a page.
  2. Select your theme - iOS7 is default.
  3. Edit the Contacts through the pop up dialog - a default set of 10 are provided as an example.
  4. Enter a name of a default selected Contact upon simulation (optional)
  5. Select a target widget to pass the selected value to (optional)
  6. Show or hide the clickable A-Z list
  7. Change Fonts and Font Family if required (optional)
  8. Show / hide the search box (optional)
